Sales Representative & Territory Manager, Brooks Life Sciences Services / GENEWIZ, Northern Germany (m/f/d)

This is a sales role that works closely with Study Managers, Marketing teams and laboratories in order to effectively build and maintain customer relationships. You will provide the full portfolio of “Brooks Life Sciences Services” to our customers, such as: Sanger Sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing, Gene Synthesis, other Lab Services and Storage.

Your new professional challenges in our Sales team Germany:

  • Customer acquisition via telephone and on-site, regular meetings with customers and interested parties.
  • Further development, maintenance and expansion of our customer relationships.
  • Implementation of our sales strategy for the Northern Germany region, including Cologne in the West and areas north of Berlin in the East.
  • Preparation of offers.
  • Representation of our company at trade fairs and events.
  • Together with our marketing team you will organize marketing/sales campaigns.
  • To successfully implement our strategic development goals, you will work closely with Portfolio Management and our customer service team.

Qualification profile:

  • Academic degree in biology (molecular biology desirable) or life science.
  • Several years of sales experience, preferably in the biotech or life science sector.
  • Proven track record in customer acquisition through direct approach.
  • Excellent communication, social and organisational skills.
  • Business-fluent German and English are mandatory requirements.
  • Willingness to travel (at least 50% travel activity, depending on catchment area).
  • In order to be optimally available for our customers, the work location / home office in the centre of the sales area, Hamburg or Hannover, would be ideal.
  • Car driving licence.

You can expect to work with a multi-professional international team and will report to the Senior Sales Executive Team Lead Germany.
