Study Manager I, Next Generation Sequencing (m/f/d)

Leipzig (Wiederitzsch)

This is a project management role that works closely with Senior Study Managers, customers and the lab in order to effectively manage the customer interaction with NGS services. This is a great opportunity to grow and expand your genomics/NGS knowledge and skills!

Your new professional challenges in our NGS team:

• Provide NGS consultation and draft NGS quotes for customer projects.
• Provide updates, and deliver NGS data to customers.
• Log and manage troubleshooting of NGS projects.
• Assist Study Managers and Sales in account management.
• Support the draft of SOPs.
• Travel to selected customer sites (~5%).
• Support logistics workflows.
• Work under certified and/or accredited conditions.

Qualification profile:

• Master's degree or PhD in Life Science.
• Basic work experience in a project manager role preferred.
• Strong background in molecular biology required, preferably in the field of genetics and genomics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to efficiently, accurately, and succinctly communicate complex information.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• German and/or French language skills are an advantage.
• Master common office software (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
