Manager, Customer Support

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our Customer Support team! Do you have excellent communication, a penchant for travel, a go-getter attitude, and experience in management? If your answer is yes to either of those questions, you could be the perfect fit for our team!
We are seeking a Manager to join our Customer Support team.
Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey
Responsibilities:
Create and execute strategy for department to ensure enterprise needs and vision are met
Responsible for annual budgeting
Create and maintain KPIs, and provide updates to management
Perform high level technical troubleshooting with customers
Travel with sales to visit customers and host seminars when needed
Host/coordinate webinars with marketing and develop new webinars as needed
Ensure quality delivery of dedicated GENEWIZ services, including trending
Advocate for CLIMS improvements
Oversee training of all team members with assistance from other senior members of the team
Perform regular one on one’s, performance reviews, and provide feedback as needed for direct reports
Mentor new members to the department
Follow SOPs and guidance of supervisors.
Qualifications:
PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent years of related experience required
5+ years of experience in a customer support function recommended \Experience managing or leading a team required
Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
Closely follow Standard Operating Protocol
