Associate Customer Support Scientist

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking an Associate Customer Support Scientist to join our Molecular Genetics and Preclinical and Clinical Services teams.
The Associate Scientist I, Project Management position in Molecular Genetics and Preclinical and Clinical Services is a customer facing role that serves as the main liaison between our diverse R&D and Regulatory customers and our experienced lab team to effectively manage their project and provide the most appropriate services and solutions.
Title: Associate Customer Support Scientist
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Provide consultation for molecular biology services including: PCR and sequencing applications: DNA, RNA, cDNA applications; DNA cloning; DNA sequencing; Next-Generation Sequencing; Various custom molecular biology techniques
Participate in cold customer direct phone calls and chat, as well as scheduled teleconferences.
Communicate project requirements and status with both customers and internal teams.
Provide support to Sales team regarding the above services
Coordinate sample management between clients and the laboratory
Supervise and manage customer accounts and projects
Work along with Sales and Marketing on promoting services and solutions
Work with various internal teams to provide customers with superior pre-sale consultation, project management and after-sale technical support
BS +2 years industry experience, MS 0-2 years industry experience in Biological Sciences required
Previous work experience in a regulated environment preferred
Strong background in molecular biology
Prior customer service experience is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
